This thought is a little bit off tempo, but it's on my mind all the same.
You know what's upsetting? There is no where to order Chinese delivery in Rogers. You know, where they deliver the greasy noodles in the neat little fold up box. And they bring it on a bicycle.
I want one of those places.

Mostly about working as an officer in Rogers, AR 72758. And, yes, more of the city is 72756. I just happen to live in the 58 section. Sometimes work is fun. Sometimes work is hard. Most times there is a good story either way.

thanks for your note. i respect your thoughts and opinions and agree that the presence of guns in a home is not inherently bad. although i would prefer not to have any in our home, out of respect for james and his desire to protect our family (and use his own guns on his annual deer hunting vacation), i am compromising and allowing him to have them in our home.
you are right that a gun safety class would probably be beneficial--a majority of my fear/dislike stems from a lack of knowledge about how to use them. james also said that shooting the quigley (i think?) would leave me sore for a couple of days, so that made me a little apprehensive as well, but that's beside the point.
that is wise of you to want to take the "mystery" out of guns and teach jonas about them. i hope you enjoy your career as an officer (james almost applied to the rpd if he didn't get hired on as a firefighter) and know that we appreciate all that you do!
